FUNDING SUPPORT

Government Funding Options

Government Funding & Tax-Free Childcare

We accept government-funded childcare and Tax-Free Childcare payments.

Funded childcare

In England, eligible working parents may be able to receive up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week, for 38 weeks of the year, from the term after their child turns 9 months old until they start school. Some families may also be eligible for funded childcare if they receive additional support for children 2 and over.
All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to funded early education, and eligible working families may be able to access additional funded hours.

Funding is not always the same as “free childcare”. Government funding covers the funded childcare hours only. Additional hours, meals, snacks, nappies, consumables, trips, or extra services may still be chargeable, depending on your child’s sessions.

How to apply

Parents must apply through the official government childcare account. When you apply for Tax-Free Childcare, HMRC will also check whether you are eligible for funded childcare for working parents.

Once approved, you will receive an eligibility code. Please send this code to us along with:

  • Your child’s full name

  • Date of birth

  • Your National Insurance number

Parents must reconfirm their eligibility through their childcare account when requested by HMRC. If this is not completed on time, funding may stop.

Tax-Free Childcare

We also accept Tax-Free Childcare payments.

With Tax-Free Childcare, eligible families can pay money into a government childcare account and the government adds a top-up of 20% towards childcare costs. This can be used to pay approved childcare providers, including nurseries and childcare settings.
