Celebrating Our Latest Ofsted Inspection

At Paris' Daycare, we are delighted to share the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection. We are incredibly proud of our dedicated team and the wonderful children and families who make our setting such a special place to learn and grow.

This inspection recognised the caring, nurturing and inclusive environment we strive to create every day, highlighting the strong relationships we build with children and families and the positive progress children make during their time with us.

Our Ofsted Rating

We are incredibly proud that Paris' Daycare has been judged as meeting the expected standards across all areas of our first Ofsted inspection.

This achievement is particularly significant as our inspection took place just nine months after opening our doors and under Ofsted's new education inspection framework, introduced this year. Receiving such positive feedback at this early stage reflects the dedication, passion and professionalism of our entire team, alongside the continued support of our wonderful children and families.

A Warm Welcome Every Day

One of the first things inspectors recognised was the welcoming atmosphere within our nursery. They observed that children arrive ready to learn, are warmly greeted by staff and quickly settle into the day.

The report highlighted that children feel safe, secure and valued because of the close relationships they develop with their key person. These strong attachments help children build confidence, develop a sense of belonging and enjoy their time at nursery.

Inspectors also recognised our open and honest communication with parents, ensuring families are always kept informed and involved in their child's learning journey.

Learning Through Meaningful Experiences

Our curriculum is built around children's interests and experiences, helping them become curious, confident learners.

The inspection praised the way our practitioners know each child well and carefully plan activities that capture their interests while supporting their development.

Our beautiful rural location was highlighted as a real strength, giving children wonderful opportunities to learn through nature. During the inspection, children were observed planting sunflower seeds together, developing not only their understanding of the world but also showing kindness, cooperation and teamwork.

These meaningful experiences help children build important life skills while making learning enjoyable.

Supporting Every Child to Reach Their Potential

We are especially pleased that Ofsted recognised how well we support every child as an individual.

Inspectors noted that children make steady progress from their own starting points because staff accurately assess their development and quickly identify where additional support may be needed.

The report recognised that children develop:

  • Strong communication and language skills.

  • Early mathematical understanding through everyday play.

  • Physical confidence and independence.

  • Emotional resilience and positive relationships.

  • Confidence to prepare them for their next stage of learning.

Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), along with those who may face additional barriers to learning, were recognised as receiving personalised support that enables them to make good progress.

Working Together with Families

We firmly believe that children achieve their very best when families and practitioners work together.

We were delighted that Ofsted recognised the positive relationships we have built with parents and carers, highlighting the strong communication between home and nursery.

Using our secure parent app, we regularly share children's achievements, learning experiences and special moments, allowing families to celebrate every milestone alongside us.

Prioritising Children's Safety and Wellbeing

The safety and wellbeing of every child is at the heart of everything we do, and we were particularly pleased that Ofsted recognised the high standards of care provided across our setting.

Inspectors praised our effective sleeping arrangements, noting that they are carefully managed and rigorously monitored by our staff. Children who require rest are supported in a calm, safe and nurturing environment, with practitioners responding promptly to their individual needs. When children become unsettled or anxious, staff provide reassurance and comfort, helping them to regulate their emotions and feel secure.

This recognition reflects our commitment to following current safer sleep guidance and ensuring every child receives the highest standard of care while they are with us. Families can feel reassured that children's wellbeing, comfort and safety remain our highest priorities throughout the day.

A Milestone We're Especially Proud Of

This inspection marks a significant milestone for Paris' Daycare, taking place just nine months after we opened our doors. Building a high-quality early years provision takes time, and we are incredibly proud that the positive practice recognised by Ofsted has been established in such a short period.

While many early years settings receive their first full inspection after a longer period of operating, we were pleased to demonstrate so many strengths at this early stage of our journey. The inspection reflects the dedication of our staff team, the support of our wonderful families and our commitment to creating a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where every child can thrive.

As a new setting, we are excited to continue building on these strong foundations and remain committed to continually improving the experiences and opportunities we provide for every child.

Always Striving to Improve

At Paris' Daycare, we believe that outstanding childcare is built on continuous reflection and improvement.

As part of the inspection, Ofsted identified two areas where we will continue to build on the excellent foundations already in place:

  • Continuing to embed consistently high expectations for children's behaviour and attitudes to learning.

  • Further strengthening our ambitious curriculum so that high-quality learning experiences continue to develop across every area of the nursery.

These are improvements we had already identified within our own development planning, and we are excited to continue enhancing the experiences we provide for every child.

Thank You

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to our incredible staff team, whose passion and dedication shine through every day.

Most importantly, thank you to our wonderful children and supportive families. Your trust, encouragement and partnership allow us to create the warm, nurturing community that Ofsted recognised throughout the inspection.

We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together and look forward to continuing to provide the highest quality care and education for every child who walks through our doors.
